Most
newspapers require that obituaries be submitted by the funeral provider or
funeral director. Our funeral directors will handle submitting
obituaries to the desired newspaper.
Our name,
phone number and logo will appear at the bottom of obituaries placed in the
Atlanta Journal & Constitution. We will assist callers with service
times, directions and take messages from those who call. Our staff will
forward messages received. A free on-line guestbook will be created at
www.ajc.com
and will remain on-line for one year.
Additional newspaper costs will
apply.

Important:
Newspapers in the Atlanta area have cut off times of 1:00 pm. We will
need your fax or email prior to 1:00 pm to make the paper for the next day.
If you wish to submit a picture with the obituary, please send your file to
us at:

Pictures must be saved as a JPEG or JPG file. This
needs to be sent to us as an attachment and not in the body of the
file. This will distort the picture.
We will also need to know what day you
would like for the obituary to appear in the paper and your contact information.
Please use a cell phone if possible.
You may use the web form to the right if you are only sending an obituary without a picture.
* If you are submitting an
obituary after-hours or on the weekend, please call our offices and advise
the on-call funeral director of your email. Otherwise, we may
inadvertently miss your email. Calling us will ensure that we
get the obituary placed as soon as possible.
