Chris Nuzum, CFSP
President

After the life changing experience of his
Mother's death in 2001 and the unfair pricing of the firm that served his
family, Mr. Nuzum entered the funeral business.
He says, "Funeral pricing should be fair
and up-front without sales tactics. Grandma should not have to return
to work to pay for Grandpa's funeral and funeral homes should be fairly
priced with extraordinary service. Our firm will live up to this promise!"
Mr. Nuzum joined the firm in 2002 as an owner
and the managing partner of the firm. He previously served Chief
Operating Officer of a national transportation company.
Mr. Nuzum is originally from Greenville, South
Carolina and has served an active role in politics in South
Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana and Georgia. He is passionate about his
community and remains active in the Barrett Greene HOA, serving as its Vice
President 2005-2007; Associate Member of the
Georgia Vietnam Veteran's Alliance and several other local community
groups.
In addition to his civic activities, Mr. Nuzum
serves on the Board of Directors for six privately held companies, is a
Honor Scholar and Funeral Science graduate from Ogeechee Technical College,
a Georgia Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, a Georgia Licensed
Insurance Agent, member of the National Funeral Director's Association,
member of the Georgia Funeral Director's Association, member of the Cremation Association of North America,
member of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia, member of the
Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and is recognized as a
Certified Funeral Service Practitioner, CFSP. In fact, among the over 1940 licensed funeral
directors in Georgia, only 40 have earned this designation.
In his spare time, Mr. Nuzum enjoys riding his
Harley and spending time with family and friends. Mr. Nuzum resides in
Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Sherry.

David Greiner
General Manager

Mr. Greiner joined the
firm in 2007 as its General Manager. He graduated from Gupton-Jones
Funeral College in 1988 and previously attended
Jefferson State Jr.
College in Birmingham, Alabama while working for Ridout’s Brown Service.
Prior to joining the
firm, he worked as a Funeral Director and Embalmer for Roswell Funeral
Home in Roswell, Georgia and most recently H. M. Patterson & Son Funeral
Home (Canton Hill) in Marietta.
He brings over 26 years
of progressive funeral experience to our firm, including multi-location
management while working for Alderwoods in California.
Mr. Greiner is a resident of Cobb County and
enjoys aviation history.

Glenn Telfer,
Location Manager - Stockbridge

Mr.
Telfer joined the firm in 2007 after over 10 years of service with A. S.
Turner and Sons in Decatur, Georgia and has been a licensed Funeral Director
and Embalmer since 1992. He is a graduate of Gupton-Jones Funeral College,
a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, member of the
Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia and brings over 20 years of
experience to our firm.
Glenn and his wife, Wendy, reside in McDonough,
Georgia and have five children and two grandchildren. Glenn and
Wendy are active in the community, their church and enjoy activities that
involves their family.
In his spare time, Glenn enjoys restoring
vintage cars, riding his motorcycle and traveling.

Jessica Martin,
Funeral Director & Embalmer |
Ms.
Martin is a graduate of Gupton-Jones Funeral College and also holds a degree
in Business. She is originally from Athens, Georgia, grew up in
Phoenix, Arizona and has traveled to Greece, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
She currently resides in Roswell, Georgia.
Prior to her career in funeral service, Ms. Martin, was an Executive
Assistant to Fortune 500 Executives. She joined the firm in 2006 as a
Funeral Director and Embalmer.
When
not engaged in her work, Ms. Martin enjoys spending time with her family,
friends and traveling to new places.

Gary Henninger,
Funeral Representative

Mr. Gary Henninger joined the firm in 2008 after relocating to the Atlanta
area with his fiancée, Terri.
Mr. Henninger has over 22 years of experience in funeral service and is a
graduate from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas.
He is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Virginia,
Illinois and Wisconsin and is preparing for his licensure in Georgia.
He is also is a Certified Crematory Technician.
Gary has been active in every community he has resided by volunteering
with the Lions Club, Jaycees, Kiwanis and the State of Virginia Disaster
Team.
Gary has three children, Amber, Carter and Bryce and enjoys sporting
events, outdoor concerts and weekend travel.

Sherry Nuzum,
Business Office
Certified Crematory Technician

Mrs. Sherry Nuzum joined the firm in 2002 and is in charge of the accounting
functions of the Society. Mrs. Nuzum has over 25 years of experience
in accounting and business office management.
She enjoys reading, traveling, socializing with friends and spending time
with family including her grandson, Jarrett. She is known for
organizing social activities, dinners and catching great performances at the
Theater on the Square in Marietta.

Joanne Langone,
Director of Member Services
Licensed Insurance Agent
Certified Crematory Technician

Ms. Joanne Langone joined the firm in 2006. She is a Georgia Licensed Life
Insurance Agent and a Registered Nurse. She is in charge of Member
Services and Pre-need Arrangements for the cremation society.
Joanne and her husband, Mike reside in Marietta, Georgia and
are the proud parents of three successful sons. She is active in medical
missions to third world countries and has made three trips to Honduras,
South America.
Joanne and Mike are active members of St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Marietta, Georgia. |

David Kirkland,
Director of Community Affairs

Mr.
Kirkland joined the firm in 1999 after service with several Metro Atlanta
Funeral Firms. He originally began his apprenticeship at Sandy Springs
Chapel in Sandy Springs, Georgia and later Bellamy Funeral Home in Powder
Springs where he eventually met his wife, Tara.
Mr. Kirkland is Master Chef and once served
under Gunter Seager while at the Ritz Carlton, Buckhead. He has hosted
his own cooking show and catered the stars.
Although, he loves the art of food, he is
passionate about his service to families. In 2004, Mr. Kirkland was
named an Expert Witness on the Tri-State Crematory Trial and represented
the proper care of the deceased. Mr. Kirkland resides in Acworth,
Georgia, has four children: daughters, Kayla and
Patricia (twins) and two sons, Justin and Charlie. |

Megan Benedetto,
Funeral Director's Apprentice

Ms. Benedetto joined the firm in
2007 after graduating from Gupton-Jones Funeral College in 2006 where she
was a member of Phi Sigma Eta fraternity. She is currently serving her
apprenticeship to gain professional licensure as a Funeral Director and
Embalmer in the State of Georgia. Megan is also a Certified Crematory
Technician and is responsible for the safe operation of crematory operations
in Marietta, Georgia.
Megan enjoys traveling and has
traveled to England, France, Italy and throughout the continental United
States. She also enjoys spending time with her family, nephews and
friends. |
