If Death Occurs at the
Hospital, Hospice, Nursing Home or
Assisted Living Center |

Contact the Hospice Nurse.
A Hospice Nurse will respond
to your home and make the pronouncement of death.
Call The
Cremation Society of the SOUTH at
(770) 420-5557 or (800) 474-0448.
*If
after hours, our answering service will answer and
connect you to a funeral director or staff member.
Our staff will respond to the location of passing and will
receive the loved one into our care.
Upon our arrival, our staff will schedule a time for you to meet with
one of our Funeral Directors to finalize the arrangements.
(usually the next day).

the Investigator or Coroner release the loved one into our
